SUPPORT THE UKRAINIAN ARTISTS WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR UKRAINE NOW

Living in Ukraine means being teacher and volunteer, being a soldier and dramaturg, droner and artist.

It means teaching Ukrainian in the cafe with generator and electricity in the morning and in the evening sending boxes of medical supplies to your friends on the frontline.

Volunteering for me now is as much important as teaching, writing or creating. I want to be open with you and share this big part of my life here.

We are ESPERO and together with volunteers associated with the Security Academy of the Center for an Informed Society, z.s. (https://www.informedsociety.cz/en/), we are launching this fundraiser aimed at providing material support to the Ukrainian army. In particular, we are focusing on the purchase, repair, and transport of cars according to the current requirements of our partner military units. In a parallel collection, we have focused on off-road pickups, but there is also a demand for delivery vehicles and, even better, vehicles with ballistic protection (retired vans used for transporting money).

Our goal is to continuously supply the required equipment, which will help with „routine“ frontline supplies, evacuation of the wounded, and the most demanding tasks in combat zones. Cars are consumables that are desperately needed and will not only help fulfill combat missions, but can also save many lives!

WHAT WE ARE DOING

We support specific units of Ukrainian defenders according to their current needs and requirements. Most of the soldiers we supported are the Ukrainian theatre artists, writers, museum workers and writer. Now they joined the armed forces of Ukraine to defend their country and we are working to support their units.

We are personally fundraising, buying cars, repairing them and delivering to the frontline of Ukraine. It is important for us to meet these people personally, talk to them, eat with them, listen to the stories they tell. Sharing our time and presence is as much important as bringing materialistic help.
